Default Sad News about Former Chrysler Spokesman

The well known, and long time highly respected actor Ricardo Montalban passed away at the age of 88.
It's a shame that with all the great movies he appeared in over the years, he'll probably be best remembered for his Chrysler ads of the mid 70's.
He'll be missed.

I loved him on Fantasy Island. I remember those commercials, I was surprised to read that a mint LS model are worth around $25,000

I saw that yesterday. I had no idea he was still alive.

I wonder if he'll be surrounded by "fine Corinthian leather"?

What about Number Six?

Patrick McGoohan was my hero.

Yeah, I can't help thinking that William Shatner has been walking aroud with a "smug" look on his face ever since he heard the news.

I also never realized Khan was 11 years older than Kirk.

I really didn't think much about "Corinthian leather" in the day they were using that line. But I learned this morning that it was a phrase invented by Chrysler for marketing to describe the leather used in their luxury cars.
