So, I have had a new SRT bumper painted and ready to go on the car since October of last year. It's been in the spare bedroom carefully covered with a blanket. I decided today was the day to put it on, so I spent two hours getting the old bumper off and was taking the last of the foam, etc. out to put into the new one when I heard a noise from the other side of the garage...

Yep, you guessed it, the new bumper fell of the workbench it was sitting on. Two chips and about ten scratches and it is back at my friend's shop to be repainted...

This has NOT been my day..

You have to laugh....!! When I got my car and was putting the Rotex pads on, I had the wheel standing beside the car in the driveway. Yep, you guessed it.....breeze blew the tire over....face first....and my minor (thank goodness) curb rash is not from a curb at all. Still makes me curse when I think about it.

 

Sorry to hear that! Car is looking good though.

 

I feel your pain , I had my car painted a month or so ago and yesterday my dog jumped up and put scratches down the side of the hood. I have not driven out of the driveway since it had been painted.

 

Look guys there should a lesson here somewhere - shucks, Im damed if I know what it is! You're right it's soo depressing when this happens. We call it Sod's Law over here - meaning "if it can go wrong - it WILL go wrong"
Ah' well - tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life!

Well, with any luck it will be repainted and on before the end of the week... Stuff like that just happens...
