For a comedian, he makes a lot of sense
I came across this video recently, where the comedian Louis CK is interviewed by Conan... a lot of what he's saying makes sense. I thought a few of you might appreciate this

Rotary phones.
Giant-sized black & white only TeeVee's with 3 channels, 4 if you could get UHF, with big antenna's AND no remotes.
No interstate highways.
No computers.
Few air-conditioners.
Wringer washing machines.
Few dryers, just clotheslines outside & in the basement.
Coal-fired furnaces.
Milk in glass bottles.
Studebakers.
Cadillac's with fins.
Edsel's with fins.
Darn near everything with fins, now that I think about it.
No 12-speed bicycles.
No stereo, mono only.
Nobody had snowblowers.
Push lawnmowers.
When you were on welfare they put your car on blocks.
I remember it all.
Damm, I'm old.................

And we knew multiplication, long division and the value of a dollar. Some of us owned a dictionary but we all understood corporal punishment. We trusted everybody but still counted our change.

How about hand-crank ice cream? Bake your own bread? Castrate pigs? Plant a victory garden? Milk a cow by hand? Run a cream separator? Churn butter? Did all of the above by age 8, growing up out West back when some of our favorite trolls were getting hippy-dippy-happy in SanFran...
Yes, we had no Crossfires. But when I could break away from chores or school, I could count on seeing almost all the important cars of the era on our local roads. My school principal had a blue 67 Camaro with a vinyl top, while some mystery guy from town was always haulin' tail in his Plymouth Superbird.
The car dealers in town would eventually sell everything from DeTomaso Panteras to the CItroen SM. Heck, even one of the local grocers would host an annual "bubble car" show in the aisles of his supermarket.
Not to mention occasional trips to Monterey to see Jaguar XKEs, Ferrari Dinos, etc
