At Henry's a big retailer in Toronto and elsewhere in Canada, they want $680 for the body, $180 for the 18-55mm and $330 for the 55-200mm. thats a total of $1,190. Thats about US$1,090.
The only package you can get is a plastic bag to take it all home in and you may have to pay for that as well.
We get raped up here on things like this, but we can still just about beat the US in Hockey, I did say just, a real squeaker. The womens team did much better, they always do.
PS
Can we have the Stanley Cup back?, If you don't let us have it back we are going to go home and take the nets with us.

We are just glad we were able to have the pleasure of playing your great team for gold.
If we can't beat you in hockey we can beat you with Nikon prices!

Let us know how you like your camera . Show us some pics. Don't forget to shoot them in lower resolution for posting as your high quality pics will be enormous with huge files. Ron

Took the D5000 to the Bulls game at the United Center and shot these pics from our private Skybox Suite using the 200mm Zoom lens and basically using just the "auto" and "sports" modes.
Still a lot more to learn but I was pretty impressed with the quality of the action photos.
The first pic shows the actual distance we were above the basketball court.

Note: After opening the link go to the "view" icons (lower right) and select the one furthest to the right for a FULL screen slideshow view.
