FP
Being a transplanted Chicago sports fan, I too am real happy the BlackHawks won the Stanley Cup. Congrats to you and daughter for an even more meaningful accomplishment. Now isn't about time the Bears came around ?

FP, my congratulations for you and your family. Great job as a family leader.

As for the Blackhawks-I used to throw darts and drink lots of beer at Lundeen's in Madison with...Chris Chelios. And a number of others. He started me watching pro hockey (Blackhawks only!). Until then it was WCHA and nothing else.

Living in Alabama gives me little chance to enjoy the finest spectator sport there is. 60 minutes of action. 2 breaks to get more beer. Perfect!

My boy is scheduled to graduate this fall. Not Valedictorian, or anything else, but his coaches kept him this summer for "tuning up". They want to show him off to some NFL scouts off the clock. Who knows?

Congrats to you, your daughter, and your family! Couldn't happen to a better guy.

I know........ it just messes with your head that there's not some sort of insult buried in here.

Yeah Black Hawks, a 49 year old monkey off their backs, that leaves the Toronto Maple Griefs with the 43 year monkey on their backs.
I cheered on the Hawks, I just do not care for the Flyers at all, I remember their bully boy years.
If we, Canada that is, do not get that Stanley Cup back soon, we are going to have to resort to stealing it.
I was born in England and I am not going to mention soccer.
