You guys are lucky. In a residential area here in the UK the speed limits are 30mph, and in some cases 20 mph.

 

Most of the time it's 30 to 20 here as well. But since our country is sooo much bigger and better than yours we get the privilege to haul *** by gradma's house when she live in the boon docks or on a major roadway.

Sounds tempting. I love the USA and keep wanting to go back at the earliest oppurtunity. The thought of selling up, packing my bags and emigrating over there has crossed my mind a few times. I hear the Nuclear Industry is expanding again in the US which is my field of work.

 

We now have speed camera's on those roads in Maryland. Its really wonderful to be driving along and the guy in front of you slams on his brakes, speed camera, once thrugh it normal speeds resume. Apparently they have done a study and rear end accidents are way up both at intersections (red light cameras) and in areas where there are speed cameras.
