Default Midwest Potholes!

Well, I decided to pull the Crossfire out of hibernation today, drive it to work, and wash the garage dust off of it afterwards. I took the same road as I do every day, and I felt like I was on a slalom course! It amazes me how I never pay any attention to potholes in my Cherokee, but they frighten the heck out of me when I am in the Crossfire! The only sad thing is I can avoid the holes, but when they fill them, there will be thousands of tiny flying missiles! I may have to let the car hibernate a little longer. Hopefully we will have a rainy day soon so Illinois Dept. of transpo can fill them.......

There was my pothole rant.....

Rainy day pothole filling could be another rant.....

Watch out for those 'holes' my friends!

If you think you have potholes, welcome to pothole country!

Here in the Twin Cities, with all our freeze thaw cycles, they are everywere. The cities can only fill them with cold mix which may last a day or two. Have to wait until the open the hot mix plants for the season before they can make a longer lasting patch.

It seems like here around Peoria, they wait until it rains to fill the potholes. I always see them shovel the cold mix into potholes filled with water. Job security I guess!

Terrible potholes here in Vermont as well. The trouble with dodging a pothole is you usually hit two others.

The roadster stays in for another 6 weeks, I would say.
