Default Big thanks to Maxcichon!

Last week I posted a thread asking for options for a bulb retainer clip, as mine was missing from my driver's side headlight. Max promptly responded and offered to actually make me one.

Max quickly followed though and made me one. Furthermore, he did so along with mailing it at his own expense.

I owe you one buddy and I won't forget it.

No doubt we have a great group here. Always willing to help a fellow Crossfire friend.
We should probably start a thread so we can thank them for their help.
Let's call it the Thank You thread.
Oh. Wait a minute!

Thank You thread

Just razzin. Glad Max was able to lend you a hand!

What did he make it out of? A paper clip?

Max is truly another one of the good guys here.
He has the skills and knowledge to fabricate items for our cars and the kindness to answer a question or even work on your car if you happen to land at the same meet somewhere.
He installed my HID's at the Spring '09 Dragon GTG.
He has also helped my on several other occasions to talk me through a procedure when I am in need of advice.

Thanks Max for all you do for us here

Gary

It was made out of .049" spring wire, stainless steel.

I made some extras-anyone need one or two?

I met Max personally yesterday at the SCCA Autocross in Pelham, Al. He is indeed one nice guy. Only problem is, he has the twin to my roadster, and his looks sooooo much nicer with all the trick fabricating he has done .....

Alax, it was great to meet you too! I hope to see you soon. When y'all come to the "Big City" to hit the general store? And you can meet the house pet. Small by your standards, but big enough for us.

Does yours sleep with you?

I'll probably be down week after next, most likely Saturday.
No, although both are house dogs, they sleep in the kitchen.
We close the doggy door around 8 so they don't disturb the neighbors.
( I can hear them barking from 4 blocks away )

Max is the man, indeed.

Always down to help, weather its installing or fabricating, or simply emptying the cooler

Any more of these clips around as both mine were missing when I bought the car. I never knew until I had to replace a bulb. Seems, according to the forum, the clip being missing allows the bulb to move causing a reduction in light output. Luckily I seldom drive mine at night. I am wiling to pay costs involved naturally.

I am another Max fan. He made a couple bulb retainer clips for me as well.
Comforting to know we have members that are capable and willing to help with issues related to these special cars.
