I drove through Fergus twice today on my way to/from Ingersol. We took Thanksgiving dinner to my ailing 94 year old Grandmother.

 

I am just a son of legal imigrant canadians but some day I want to move to Canada. I just hate the damn cold lol.

I'm 23, in the military and have deployed twice. I Just had my second kid and my first mid life crisis.

Since i bought my first sports car i've had a passion for them. After i got back from afghanistan my wife was pregnant with my second son so i moved on to 2 family cars. She had her jetta and i traded in my Explorer for a 2010 Ford Fusion. Every where i looked i saw sweet cars. One day i was at the gas station and it was about the 5th time i seen a Bullet Mustang in town that week, and i finally got fed up and decided to buy myself a little hot rod. That night I found a Yellow MR2 Spyder for 10.5k and i was on it like hot cakes. Unfortunetly it was sold earlier that day. After a couple days looking around i finally decided to test drive my XF and i fell in love.

September 1st 2011, I found my true love. Only to be out matched when i trade her in for a SRT-6

 

Clearly you are very logical by ultimately deciding on the SRT6. Flame suit on!

I served in Iraq and Somalia years ago while stationed at Fort Campbell, but you were a teenager or younger back then. Thank you for your invaluable service.

 

Ughhh the good old military

Been on leave for 20 days, and i have CQ tomorrow. After i recover from that shift i have to polish my car up because my semi professional friend is photo shooting my car. He does some pretty sweet photo shop effects too. I'm pretty stoked.

 

I spent too much time on /b/ today.. consider yourselves lucky this is all I'm posting

 

CQ - Charge of Quarters for those that haven't served. Stay awake and lower the flag tomorrow before dusk.

 

Clearly this song strikes a chord with me for some reason. The reason, in case you care to know why, is I work with a bunch of back-stabbing MF's that thrive on pulling each other down and stabbing each other in the back every chance they get. Oh, and the irony of it all is they just promoted me and I'm the most easy-going and laid-back guy in the company. WTF?

This song liberates me to some extent.

 

The military doesn't fall far from the Civilian Tree so to speak. Promotions should be and are based on potential.

 

Just keep doing a great job (your best) and distance yourself from their negativity. That's what I've done and it's suited me well so far over the years.

To be part of the younger croud around here would mean you are 48 year old or less and retired or semi-retired
