OMG what ya paying for gas ???
This is always amusing - they had something on local tv last night here in Norfolk UK saying that the dearest petrol in the area was the equivalent of $9.19 per US gallon
. Last fill up (last week) I paid $8 but its gone up a bit since - diesel is even more.

$4.00 is cheep at the pump when you consider what borrowing money from China to pay for it is going to cost us.
Were adicts to the stuff and- like any drug- until we hit bottom (are we there yet?) the cost will continue to go up.

Gas is still cheap for a dwindling resource, just wait, solar will be important when power costs reach much higher levels. Natural gas will be the best bet in the meantime. Woody
Well see $6 with the unrest in the mid east and global competitiion, we should have never sold it in the past. It was 0.10 a barrel at the beginning of the second WW.

But we're selling it to the US at a cheaper rate than we're paying for it here (we pay $5.10 per US Gallon today).

I agree, and we shouldn't be selling it now either.

$3.73 a gallon on premium yesterday. Miata is starting to look good as a daily driver.. LOL.
But on the bright side for me.. first horizontal well is drilled and starting on second then fracking them. Also overhauling the first well that was screwed up by the first small time outfit that leased from us. So ask me how much I'm going to complain! Higher prices are incentive for oil production.
GOD BLESS TEXAS !

If it gets a little too expensive to drive you will have more time to detail the car. Win win I'd say.
I found this site with the price of gas in the UK compared to other European countries and the US. Canada is not on it unfortunately. If I was in the US I'd stop whining and pay up.

Congress is the problem. The economy is in the toilet still (slow progress, I will admit). The lawmakers that were in power who allowed everything to happen culminating in the global economic crisis are still in power now. Nothing will change until the registered voters in this country wake up and enforce term limits by electing anyone besides an incumbent.
Back on track - Gas is running $3.55/gal for regular; $3.75 for premium. With my fuel perks benefits from Bi-Lo I filled up my truck for $2.95/gal this weekend
