Things to also consider that you have not mentioned.
Where do you live?
Are the winters harsh?....The Crossfire is not good in snow if your wife is driving all year round.
If the car is a second "Fun" car then you/she will love it.

You will need to see if the convertible window has been replaced. There is a Chrysler bulletin on that problem. If the car is originally a southern car, then you will be able to get it replaced at no charge. Otherwise, the cost to replace is about $2000 to $2500. What's the mileage on the cars? Do you have the VIN#s? We have a list of VIN#s on the Forum and you might be able to locate the owner and/or get some feedback here about the car.

The XF Limited is a great running car. It just gets up and goes as fast as you NEED it to go. We've had our roadster since the fall of 2005 and would buy another one in a heartbeat.

By the way, the Florida Crossfire Group is planning an outing for Sunday, August 5 over to Sarasota. Visit the Group on Facebook and let us know that you're coming!

the XF will not be as quick as the Z28 (personal experience there) nor will it sound as good (subjective) and likely won't get as good gas mileage!! That being said it is a FAR nicer place to spend your time and does handle better - all in all a lot more civilised

Um, guys, it's his FIRST Crossfire.

SRTs are for those of us wishing to upgrade.

(Or in my case, those who just can't live with just ONE Crossfire.)

But, that back seat is just a sign of the vision Eric has - he has come up with a sports car that can do double duty for the crowd that is still raising kids (or, acutally, is just BEGINNING to raise kids). The car attracts a different crowd than the Crossfire - but the two groups sure had fun this spring together.

Just wait, Doc. I think some of us old guys gained their respect in the curves... it was a totally fun weekend!

I like the looks of the genesis, but, hey the guy had a 'stang and a Z-28, what would he do with a plain ole' XF.... lol... Never owned a Mustang, but have had 3 Camaro's in my day... '69 Z, loved that car, 71 big block, loved that car, and a 92 Z... I wouldn't have an N/A for any of those mentioned, for performance reasons...but that's just me...enjoy...

Hi guys love the xf your correct its not as fast as the z28 but driving this car feels completely different than any car I have driven its plenty fast enough for a v6 if I feel the need for speed the cobra takes care of that
Any way to shut the seat belt chime off and what the heck is the point of the 2 clicks past the off position on head light switch
