Default NW CAI install issue

I just got an older version of the intake and I'm having issues with the MAF sensor, my plug won't reach to the new position of the sensor on the upper bend of the intake. Any suggestions on a quick fix. It seems to be tied down so that there is very little slack. Will cutting these zip ties free up some cable? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Yes, open up the harness so as to be able to reach the MAF plug. Tape and resecure harness
