Default Rest In Peace MikeR

I am very saddened to relay the news that MikeR has passed away. I just received an email from his daughter. (below)

It is with a sad and grieving heart that I wanted to let you all know that my dad, Mike, died in a hunting accident this weekend.
I apologize for delivering this news by email. Funeral arrangement are going to be finalized tomorrow.
The funeral service will be followed by a celebration of life.
Again, I do apologize for delivering this news by email but want to ensure everyone is notified.

Tiffany
(Mike’s daughter)
MikeR was a great friend and I am going to miss talking with him on the phone about these cars, guns and shooting sports, the things he was machining and the thing he was most proud of, his family. He was a truly great person and will be missed.

To the family, you are all in my prayers and have my deepest sympathies. May you find comfort in this time of sorrow and joy in knowing Mike is finally again with his wife.

No words to express how stunned I am... Mike was always a gentleman and a very helpful member on this forum. Though we never met, I always considered him a good friend.

Prayers going out to his family...

I also just got an email from Tiffany. It is so sad, I never met Mike but we had many private conversations where we were exchanging thoughts and ideas. He was a really honest and nice guy to know. Many prayers to his beloved family.

Rest in peace

/Adam

My family, as well as the Crossfire community send our thoughts and prayers with the Rydquist family in this time of grief and pain. I was stunned to read this email this morning. Mike was a good friend to whom which I never got the pleasure to meet in person, but talked with on the phone, PM and email quite often. Mike truly will be missed by all that have been in contact with him.
Wow.... Word cannot describe the feelin in my stomach right now.

Very sorry for the loss. However, I would suggest removing her contact info, and just saying it's available. The web is crawling with scammers and other bad people looking for email and phone #'s... They don't need to be bothering her, especially right now.

Mike was a great guy, an awesome friend, and one hell of a mind. I enjoyed our conversations as well, and numerous email exchanges. He made good parts, and made the world a better place with his presence - you will be missed, Mike.

Tiffany emailed me as well, I was absolutely shocked...

I read this just as I went to bed, and then my internet failed due to the storm... this is just awful news.

I, too, never met him - sure wish I had. The only positive thing - it was obvious he enjoyed his life, and many, many people enjoyed the fact that he was here with us as long as he was. 'Bye Mike.

I too am at a loss for words. His camber arms saved my rear tires and were of the highest quality I was looking forward to purchasing his sway bars links in the future. I too never met him in person but email and pm exchanges were always quick and very respectful.
Rest in piece Mike and condolences to those whom his sudden departure from life greatly affected.
