Re: Rest In Peace MikeR
i would like to send something to the funeral, should we all send it together from his crossfire friends?
it doesnt really matter if its flowers, a cookie basket, whatever, just soemthign to show that we cared enough to do so. i think a 5-10 donation from evevryine would add up quickly into something nice to be delivered there.

I met mike thru the forum when he assisted me in making up some metal parts for my pulley saver design. He fashioned them from old gun barrels and contributed greatly to that project.
He will be missed by all of us for many reasons. At least I can take him out once and a while as I drive the crossfire with his camber bars he provided me. Thanks for all, Mike.

I've been communicating by email with Mike concerning the SRT6 VIN# listing (sticky) for the past few years every ten days or so.
The last update was posted by Mike on September 5th. I sent Mike an update last week and was surprised that it was not posted, so I sent a PM.
Tiffany responded to the PM today and I saw it while I was at a three day business meeting. I could not believe the email, what a shock, it was beyond belief, I was stunned by the news.
This is a very difficult time, for the family, since it was so sudden. My prayers are with Tiffany and the family.

If we want to really make a difference, maybe someone associated with the family could be our interface and have his car be auctioned; to the members of the forum, sending his family a really serious donation. Reserve needs to be posted.
THis is just a thought that crossed my mind, it would keep his car in the club, and benefit the family in a significant way. I remember that he had just gotten back to work in the near past.
Or something, just wanted to offer some out of the box thinking - ideas.

CICCI will be making a Donation to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
I spoke with Mikes daughter on the phone this evening and she said this would have been Mike's wishes.
The donation is being made in memory of Mike and Sheryl R.

I was thinking we could have a few words said in his honor and memory at the meeting Friday night... and I'm sure that will happen.
Thanks for being a class act, Rudy. I've talked to him on here a bit, but don't know his name or family or anything...
