Slide Fire AR15
I'm sure it's coming. I'll just go to my room and wait for daddy to come home.
I agree with alot of what was said by some in this thread but for everyone freaking out about gun control and laws that may or may not happen, just think, I live in CA.... I cant even get a damn XDM lol, still want to talk about BS with the government?... I could go all day.

jus' sayin'
I don't plan on it, I agree with earlier remarks that it should be dropped considering this is a car forum. I was more or less trying to lift the spirits of those who feel they were getting dealt the short end of the stick.... The sticks were drawn a long time ago...
Ripped from today's headline......
Perhaps he had even more sinister intentions...... If not for the guilt...

Couldn't resist?
Well enjoy it while it lasts. This thing is a novelty and a great way to waste ammo but the second something like this gets used in the commission of a felony, the ATF will reclassify it and it will be illegal to own. Sorry but that is a fact and I understand these arguements very well. The anderson accelerator is what got me wanting in on the full-auto club. For those that don't know what that was, it was this thing with a spring in it and initially the ATF said those were OK too.
My whole point is this thing is nothing more than a way around the law. I don't want people to be prohibited from legally being able to purchase full-autos, I just want people to go about their ownership in a law abiding manner and don't want people that aren't or shouldn't have access to any weapon, especially a full-auto, from something like this that gets them very close. If that was the case, bump-fire devices like this unequivocally would be illegal.

You're right about wasting ammo. That's also probably why very few mass shootings involve automatic firearms - if you are an "active" shooter there is a limit to how many magazines and cartridges you can carry at one time. With automatic fire most ammo is either wasted or redundant.
In an effort to steer this blundering bus back on the topic;
Does anyone know where I can get one of these?

Here you go:
Roy Rogers Quick Shooter Hat with Hidden Gun in Original Box with Instructions | eBay
Sold for $330! Would be a great show-and-tell idea for a 3rd grader! I wonder what happens if you push the button while the hat is on your head?

After rubbing your head you would notice your hat was missing
Then you would have to chase that little pr!ck Jimmy all over the classroom to get it back
The whole class would toss it about in an effort to tease you.
The class bully would grab it and dare you to "come and get it."
The teacher would scold everyone in class about a persons right to property.
And no one would care that the "property" was and evil, vicious, gun.
And everyone would be mad at you for getting them in trouble with the teacher.
At least, that's how I remember it.

Call of duty game is Okay. But, God forbid if anyone plays cops and robbers at recess.
We are standing very close to the edge of political talk here. Sorry.
Back to bump fire.
I agree with Rudy in that such apparatus, if widely distributed, would soon become illegal to own.
It also seems a bit reckless to have your weapon slightly our of control so that this will device will work.
I remember a day at the range where a nubie was handling her first semi- automatic pistol. The seven shot mag was emptied in about 3 seconds. Most of the lead did not make it down range. A crude version of the bump fire principle but lesson learned.
Not everyone would be able to handle one.
I do not as yet own a rifle on the AR-15 platform but, I doubt I would be interested in one of these.
