going north in May

I'm going to be taking a trip to Norfolk, Virginia on May 24th. Right now I don't know if I'm going to fly or drive. If there was something going on close by or on the way up,Before the 24th or back down to Fl,after the 24th.
I checked with Fontana Village, nothing great happening that weekend, so if I don't find something interesting I'll just fly up.jim

will try to make the 17 in the keys,,, just found out a brother of my daughter's husband is retiring from the military,, Lt Col. and as military myself, and of course the wife says we are going. so to Va on the 24 we go., jim
