Default Really.. Omg!

Now that we've seriously commited to looking over and buying that 72 vette.. guess what pops up on Ebay.. and not half way around the country to buy it! Some may recall this really caught my wife's eye with the interior color combo... and until now was the ONLY one we had ran across ..

Seriously, that combo is awesome. But sadly, it is not a stick shift!

Honestly for the asking price ($15.5k) you can probably find an SRT-6 roadster for the same price or bit more. More smile per mile.

You are correct, you will never find a color combo like that in an SRT-6 (at least from the factory). Not having a red SRT-6 is one of Chrysler's sins...

That in a SRT-6 would make me real itchy at 19-20 K price tag!

Yeah, I'm married to one of those myself. So we bought her and SRT6. But they don't come in red.

The red SE which came out in 2006 (like ERZER has) comes with the SRT wheels. It is a sharp look. As Itsky related, Chrysler really missed an opportunity there.

I have a full extra set of SRT wheels. If they were not so hard to clean, I would put them on my NA.

Ever get that "this ain't the car" feeling? Turns out we were miss informed about the corvette by a 3rd party.. it's a 78 vette instead of a 72.. Wife still wants to look it over.. it's her call. And at his original 15k price tag.. it is going to have to be near perfect...

Now as fate would have it... a little over priced, but gets another REALLY? That rare combo is coming out of the wood work now...

Nice - we never got that great interior in the UK (just like we never got Alabaster or Oyster bodywork ) - but doesn't the steering wheel on the first car look too worn for the stated mileage? - the second one looks better but with slightly higher miles...

Yeah I made that observation and comment to the wife on that. Sent an email to both sellers inquiring about whether the cars will qualify for the rear window warranty. The Houston car really looks to be the better car of the two just based on pics. Just 1 yr older, 6k more on the clock and 1.2k more in price..
