How do you calculate the angle on those ?
I'd think the best would be to have both angling the same way, then you could lead with one foot, and the following foot would move all the snow to one side.

Ok, got about 1/2 inch of snow and (mostly) sleet on the ground. Some of it came down as rain, as the north face of poles and trees are covered in a generous (maybe 1/8") coating of ice. The wind feels like a threat to my power, so the heat is on 75F now. (That will buy me 1 to 2 more hours before I freeze in case of no power.) My work day consists of a conference call at 12:30 I suspect I'm not going anywhere tomorrow, either.

Same here. I have over 1 inch of snow on top of ice. Driveway, steps, and truck all coated in a layer of ice and snow and this is just the beginning as they say this will continue until 1pm tomorrow. They say more ice and snow coming up to 5 inches. I am also worried about the power being taken down by a tree or tree branch since I have 50 big pines around my house. Guess it will be a couple days before I will get back out again. Atlanta is shut down!
But hey I have a nice fire in the fireplace and some coffee so all is wel

If we hit 40 degrees next week I'm gonna temporarily turn off the heat and open up the garage and pressure wash the floor where the wife parks the BMW each night.
So much dirt and salt from all the melt off and I haven't been able to wash it out yet this entire winter
.

My poor concrete is white with salt....I hope we get rain, or I am going to have to turn on the water for a day. Still a lot of snow to melt out there as well.

Did not miss this Jim. Started yesterday and will continue until about mid day tomorrow. Had a break from the snow only to get freezing rain.

If and when it hits 40 degrees me and the Crossie are going out to stretch our winter legs. Maybe Ill throw in a "spa day" to get rid of her winter dust.

Went out for a Thai lunch today with a few co-workers.

80 degrees out and crystal blue skies.

With five people in a small Toyota - had to turn on the AC....

Paradise can be cruel.
