thinking of selling...
I have a nice pair of SRT6's. Thinking of listing them for sale. I don't drive them enough anymore, nor compete with them. I have only had time to do the half mile event, and work has taken it toll this year. Even the ole' Harley has only seen one ride this year. I won't sell it though. I would rank both cars in the top 20 for the mods done and the testing, speed achieved and times recorded. They are done perfectly as I am picky about installs and their looks. The cars aren't going cheap, or they will stay put. They are hardly stock, but done well within safe parameters. If you want a car modded and not do the work, here they are. I will try to get both of them out of the garage tomorrow and get detailed photos up. I will work tonight to list all the mods done to each car. There will be a lot of parts, like the stock pulleys and such that will go with each car. Again, won't be listed cheap, but will be listed well below what I have in them. If no interest here, I will take them to Auburn Indiana sometime in the future. It has rained here today, so I wasn't able to get them out, but Sunday should be dry. I love these cars, but maybe it's time for something new. The new Z06, for example is calling my name. I may change my mind, but for now...I'm in the mood...
I, m sorry to here this Doc, but understand , I would bet that they would sell pretty fast , and I like the new zo6 also but just to much for this old guy, but can tell you I do like my c6 , good luck on the sale,
Indeed! Sorry to hear you selling, Doc!
For anyone who doesn't know Doc or his cars, I can attest that he's got a couple of the fastest and best maintained SRT-6's around. When Doc does something, he does it right.
Best of luck with the sale, Doc. I hope we'll still see you at an event here and there!

Thanks Tom....weather isn't too good right now, but we are working on listing mods and getting some updated photos up. Not something I will enjoy doing, but there are a lot of new members on here. Maybe someone else could enjoy them. I am working on the Dragon reservations and still going to register for the Ozarks CAA. I don't see them selling quickly as I won't give them away. I am willing to part with them at a fair price. Still working on that as well. I have accumulated a few parts along the way. Milling around in the garage today, and found lug bolts, extra set of wheels w/ used drag radials, meth kit never installed, line lock never installed, old engine covers, and the list goes on....lol. And, if there isn't any interest, we will just keep them until a good car auction comes along. They aren't making them anymore, and only a few are modded as they sit. So we shall see. But, garage queens, isn't getting it anymore. I need the room and something that wow's me again. Although, when driving either of these two, they can be fun cruisers or a hand full....take your pick. I have went from 60K a year driving to 100K a year at work, and it has taken it's toll....so we shall see...
Wish I had someplace to put that pretty Blue coupe.
The sun is killing the paint on my gray SRT.
Maybe I'll take the BLACK one and just let it bake just for fun!

And just from what I've seen of you and your cars on the Forum.. I have no doubt they are some really fine examples. Still planning on the Dragon though right?
LMAO...thanks DJ...yes, dragon and CAA are still on. I don't look for a quick sell... weather sucks, as I am trying to finish painting the house, and getting ready to rip up the back deck. No time fellas....no time... Will work on getting things up later...just in for a quick break, then back at it...
I think I know what this is really all about.....
You can take the boy out of the Chevy, but ya can't take the Chevy out of the boy.
What ever the reason Doc, you know you can always come over and play with us.

Well, Mike, you know me pretty well. But, I won't give these two away. They are perfect in many ways. No hellcat for me. Too big of a car. I just want to throw them out there with all the new members and lurkers around. You never know, someone might be interested. I still have to list the mods on each car and my selling price or best offer I can live with. If I were to bite the bullet on new, it will be another Z06. That doesn't mean I would, but it does appeal to me. I should never have done the half mile events. Those events get into your blood and you realize displacement starts to kick in. That doesn't mean my two cars won't hang with the best of them, as they did in the quarter mile. The half mile, well, we needed the other two cylinders....lol
