It is official, I am diverted! Again!
We have made a decision on shrinking 3 cars to 2. One fun car, and an AWD Sedan.
I'm having some hard time accepting owning an vehicle that has more than 2-3 doors(Coupe & Hatchbacks), but it has to be done.
Anyway, the SLK is gone, and had already found his new owner within 4 days of the dealer had it. Hope he will enjoy it as much as I did.
The day I brought the cars to the dealer, someone with his lady friend was taking pictures of both cars side by side like crazy. So I bet he's got it

The new fun car, well
I'm back in the late model pony cars now, coming from an R171 SLK, I did not feel any lack of feature with the new one, plus the handling wasn't disappointing at all! Matter fact, other than the tail doesn't follow the nose, it has been a great pleasure.
Now, I finally back to the 6sp, and a 8 banger to play with. I had considered SL55 or SL550, but could not get over all the work it will bring with.

The video doesn't do the car's "sound" justice, and it sounds great in the video. I've driven the car and I got to say it's the FASTEST Ford I have ever been in. The custom made "chambered" exhaust might be just a little too loud for some, but as they say, if it's too loud, you're too old.lol
It really made me feel like I was driving a Muscle Car from the late 60's. (only faster). Made me miss my 69 X just that much more.
Thanks Shibing.
My "Cheeks Dyno" says it could be in stock SRT 1/4 mile territory. (When he learns how to launch it.)

You are still very welcome at the Dragon GTG's. Heck, you never had a Crossfire anyway !
( We still allow Nick in, why I don't know )

+1 +1 +1. Hell, one of these days I'll show up in something...different.
Did have a Crossfire
And it wasn't that long ago neither.
Trading Day for the Crossfire
I love the new ride and it sounds amazing in the video
Gotta join us at the Dragon in October
I want a ride in that bad boy
Congratulations

All cool.
Part of the problem is me switching cars too quick.
I do recall Nick had a SRT6, that's why he's around too.

Thanks!
Got screwed last year in schedule, hopefully I'll make it this year!
I have nothing bad to say about the new Mustangs. I race them often. The sounds are glorious. They do everything well. What I don't like about them is why I drive a SRT-6. You see Mustangs .. and other pony cars, everywhere. But that's a personal reason and nothing against the Mustang.

That was my casting vote between the 09 SL550 and the Stang, until I drove each one of them. I had my mind so set about SL before I tried the Mustang. Up till today, I still blame the one who talked me into the late model pony cars
Too bad I can't find a good older SL55 at that time, otherwise the Stang wouldn't have a chance.
Very nice Sir. I also bought and S550 this year to replace BB as my Daily driver, though I went for the Automatic due to my handicap. The new Coyote is an amazing engine, and the independent rear suspension has fixed most the old Stangs foibles. I went with the Deep Impact blue, but that red Ruby was my second choice.
Happy Motoring, and enjoy that rumble.

My very first car was a '64 Mustang convertible. 289 Holly four barrel, glass packs, red leather interior and metal flake silver with spinners on the wheels. $1,200.00 out of the Dealer Show room. Loved it as much I believe you will love your new red pony.
Congratulations on a wise and enjoyable buy,
