"users online" stats

"users online" stats
how can the most users online (simultaneously) be 425, but the most users online in a single day be only 321? just something i noticed. probably reset the "in a day" stat for the new year, but never reset the "simultaneously" stat?

I think it's hard to believe that there were 425 people logged on all at the same time! I never see even close to that many people listed as online!

the "current active users" (most users ever online)...includes "unregistered guests". this is why the number is greater in this category.
the "number of active users" (most users ever online on a day)...only includes "active registered members".
hope this makes sense.
