I had a near mint Yashica Mat124 in a near mint case. The shutter was sticky and my son had it refurbished and now it runs perfectly. It is a beautiful camera, in these days of digital cameras it is a dinosaur of course, it does take 120 and 220 roll film.
Like you I have lost interest in my camera collection, which has about 40 odd cameras in it. My earliest digital camera from around the year 2000 was about US$1,000 new. It is a near mint Olympus C2500L 2.5 Megapixel, it focuses to about .80”. It is in the box with all the accessories and paperwork.
It cost me US$45.00 on eBay.
My earliest camera is a Miranda T from the mid fifties.

Iphone camera quality has become so good with the convenience to share photos immediately on the internet its just become my camera of choice

I do indeed have one, thanks to your help. Photos I put up on the forum are taken with it.
My son keeps up to date with the latest iPhone models and always has the latest model. I am amazed at the quality achieved by them. I have an iPhone 7, I still prefer my old flip phone to a smart phone as I do not like using something which is smarter than I am.
He does however have one of the mirrorless cameras, which is half the size of the DSLR.
