Default Swapping in srt 6 engine

I’ve read some posts and it’s either I’ve read it’s tough, some I’ve read it’s easy. But which is it?! Haha. I have a NA engine in a 2004. I want to get the srt6 engine and swap it. Got this car like a week ago to fix up and give to my dad as a Father’s Day gift. Is it worth to try and swap it out? Or some other way to get some more power/torque/giddeup in my stock engine?

it would be a great project to undertake with Dad
it will bring you closer together

my advice is to purchase a complete donor car

or
purchase all of the required parts from Many donors. I. Any event it won’t be cheap, bring your wallet

a few less expensive options are
cold air intake
ECU tune
TCU tune
74mm throttle body
cat delete

these won’t break the bank
and the two of you can do these together

you’ll see an improvement to HP

youre Dad is going to love the car in any form.
what a great surprise

Alright. Specific guy I should talk to about ecu, tcu tunes? I appreciate the cheaper route. Anyway to give that throttle a little more kick.

Without spending a fortune you will be hard pressed to exceed 200 hp at the rear wheels with mods.
Save time, energy and $$$, sell the car you have and get an SRT that gives you about 100 hp from the get go with no mods.
