Joe, ( Why did the Delta plane crash and flip in Toronto? Here's what we know. ) This was monday the 17th. Quote in the article

" Toronto was experiencing rough and frigid weather

Evacuees from the plane crash were met with harsh wintry conditions when they exited onto the airfield, with one person likening the environment to tundra weather. Snow and ice coated the tarmac, and powerful, blustery winds could be seen on video.

Meteorologists said Toronto was experiencing blowing snow when the accident occurred, and visibility had been reduced to 6 miles. Winds were gusting up to 37 miles per hour and temperatures dropped far below freezing to just 17 degrees Fahrenheit.

But Toronto International Airport Fire Chief Todd Aitken said Monday that the airport runway was dry at the time of the crash, and there were no crosswind conditions as the Delta flight arrived.

Bastian told "CBS Mornings" that the flight crew was an experienced group familiar with Toronto's intense winter weather. "

This reported Monday the 16th, this provided by the airport fire chief who would know this, also said the pilots were experienced in this type conditions at the airport.

No matter what was the reasoning, it is but a sad affair for everyone involved, at least all survived.

I'll stick with old school cars then. I don't want anything that involves AI.
If I could remove it from my phone I would.

I agree with you
I want gas powered cars designed by humans.
Might be built by robots as some already are.
Eric is still a car designer and teaches it now to.
That's why I'm sure he is concerned about the future cars and designs

A.A.A.D.D..
KNOW THE SYMPTOMS!
Thank goodness there's a name for this disorder.
Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder.
This is how it manifests:
I decide to water my garden.
As I turn on the hose in the driveway,
I look over at my car and decide it needs washing.
As I start toward the garage,
I notice mail on the porch table that
I brought up from the mail box earlier.
I decide to go through the mail before I wash the car.
I lay my car keys on the table,
put the junk mail in the garbage can under the table,
and notice that the can is full.
So, I decide to put the bills back
on the table and take out the garbage first..
But then I think, since I'm going to be near the mailbox
when I take out the garbage anyway,
I may as well pay the bills first.
I take my check book off the table, and see that there is only one check left.
My extra checks are in my desk in the study,
so I go inside the house to my desk where I find the can of Pepsi I'd been drinking.
I'm going to look for my checks, but first I need to push the Pepsi aside
so that I don't accidentally knock it over.
The Pepsi is getting warm, and I decide to put it in the refrigerator to keep it cold.
As I head toward the kitchen with the Pepsi, a vase of flowers on the counter
catches my eye--they need water.
I put the Pepsi on the counter and discover my reading glasses that
I've been searching for all morning.
I decide I better put them back on my desk, but first I'm going to water the flowers.
I set the glasses back down on the counter, fill a container with water and suddenly spot the TV remote. Someone left it on the kitchen table.
I realize that tonight when we go to watch TV, I'll be looking for the remote,
but I won't remember that it's on the kitchen table, so I decide to put it back in the den where it belongs, but first I'll water the flowers.I pour some water in the flowers, but quite a bit of it spills on the floor.
So, I set the remote back on the table, get some towels and wipe up the spill.
Then, I head down the hall trying to remember what I was planning to do.
At the end of the day:
the car isn't washed
the bills aren't paid
there is a warm can of
Pepsi sitting on the counter
the flowers don't have enough water,
there is still only 1 check in my check book,
I can't find the remote,
I can't find my glasses,
and I don't remember what I did with the car keys.
Then, when I try to figure out why nothing got done today,
I'm really baffled because I know I was busy all darn day,
and I'm really tired.
I realize this is a serious problem,
and I'll try to get some help for it,
but first I'll check my e-mail....

This is a now defunct radio station located on the Belleville Turnpike in Kearny, NJ. It was active until a few years ago. They moved to streaming in 2022.
I actually worked inside the place when I was with Verizon. A co-worker and me were there fixing their T-1 telephone line. That was a royal pain!
The building and the antenna field is still there.
Here's a link if anybody is interested: Link to WMCA radio

Thanks!
There's a lot of history in that little station.

You have to assemble your life yourself.
If it is endurable, then endure it. Stop complaining.
If it is not right, don't do it
If it is not true don't say it.
Betrayal is not about you; it is about them.

11 year old Olly Pearson’s Electrifying Guitar Solo Earns Golden Buzzer on "Britain's Got Talent 2025"

The stage of Britain’s Got Talent 2025 was set for an unforgettable moment when Olly Pearson, a young and incredibly talented guitarist, stepped into the spotlight.
With his electric guitar in hand and a confident yet humble demeanor, Olly had no idea that his performance would leave the judges and audience in absolute awe.
By the time he struck the final chord of his Queen guitar solo, the entire theater was on its feet—and one judge had already slammed the coveted Golden Buzzer.

From the first note, it was clear that Olly wasn’t just another guitarist. He had a deep connection to the instrument, playing with a level of skill and passion that is rarely seen, especially in someone so young. His choice of music—a medley of Queen’s greatest guitar solos, inspired by the legendary Brian May—was ambitious, but he executed it flawlessly.
The powerful opening of “Bohemian Rhapsody” set the tone, followed by the intricate solo from “We Will Rock You.” As he transitioned into the electrifying “Brighton Rock” solo, his fingers moved with breathtaking speed, leaving the audience stunned.

The judges’ expressions told the story. Simon Cowell, known for his critical eye, looked genuinely impressed, while Amanda Holden’s jaw dropped as Olly’s fingers danced across the fretboard. Alesha Dixon clapped along, clearly enjoying the energy, and Bruno Tonioli was completely enthralled, rising to his feet before the performance even ended.

As the final note rang out, the audience erupted into cheers, giving Olly a standing ovation. Before he could even react, one of the judges reached forward and hit the Golden Buzzer. In that instant, golden confetti rained down, and Olly stood frozen in disbelief. Tears welled in his eyes as he realized he had just secured a direct spot in the live shows.
