Based upon this latest information from NASA, the orbits of Neptune and Pluto cross each other twice while orbiting the sun. Another assumption is they are not on the same level when the crossing takes place, otherwise a collision would take place creating some type of potential catastrophic event. Too bad this was not a multilevel diagram, providing an answer to this scenario.
Thanks for the post..... Dennis

Agreed, this is a VERY one-dimensional perspective. I posted it in response to all the "Planetary alignment" posts you see these days. The planets are not aligned, they are simply visible together right now. Were they "aligned", you'd see Jupiter and nothing else, as all the distand planets would be behind Jupiter with Mars in the forground, but overwhelmed by Jupiter. And 12 hours later, you'd see Venus.
This is assuming Earth is part of the alignment. THis is to say that is ALL planets were in a line, you could not see more than Jupiter, Mars in one sky and Venus 12 hours later/earlier.
After 6 months I can once again climb in and out of Freya and just enjoy the drive. I have to bend and not-twist differently to do this without dislocating the hip.
Now I will keep driving longer and farther so my muscles strengthen. I have a trip across the state the end of March, I'd like to enjoy driving my Crossfire on that trip.

Happy to hear you are once again able to drive your Crossfire I had a LEFT knee replacement in May 2019 and had to regain strength and range of motion to return to driving my 6 speed Roadster

………all this talk about alignment has me dizzy -
The key to unlocking universal mysteries is to know where the perspective is.
I think it was something about alignment of celestial bodies………and how all that is so important.
……and as an example, if the photographer was positioned looking down the row instead of aside, we’d only see 1/6th of the Beauty that our Maker has provided.
I ask you to NOT speculate or explain the cause of this crash
It's just to early to know or point any blame
I'm just grateful there was no loss of life resulting from this plane crash !!
There was a 40 MPH crosswind that was present during that landing that flipped that plane, regardless of the hard landing. Not all Jets land with the nose up, such as the Embraer jet in this incident, as well as the regional Canadair planes with the wings that are placed farther back on the fuselage than a Boeing 737, which lands with the nose up on approach. The landing windspeed has parameters for all aircraft, if it exceeds, the landing will be aborted, and the plane will land at another airport to avoid any similar accidents. I've been on a few flights that were diverted due to high winds.
Just my 2 cents.... Dennis

At first they said there was a crosswind, but later said no crosswind was present. The Acft did not 'flair' before touchdown and came down too fast for the gear to successfully absorb the landing. That has been said for about the last three days regarding this accident. More to come I am sure.
according to a recording of airport tower radio traffic. ….. an air traffic controller told the Delta pilot there were winds of 26 mph, gusting up to 38 mph, blowing across the plane’s path at a 40-degree angle,
(((( the wind check could have been given more than a minute before touchdown……..where at touchdown, gusts and direction could have been drastically different))))))))))
