Question Head Rests?

I really wish the seats had some kind of head rest. Have any of you come up with any good ideas for extending the top portion of the seat forward about 2-3" so when you put your head back your not staring at the ceiling. I like to drive with the seat at a bit of a recline but when I hit the gas or want to just relax a bit the seat is too far back to rest my head comfortably. Keep in mind I'm not laid way back it's just that a 2-3" pad would really do the trick. I've seen the cheapo head rests at the auto stores and stores like Target but I was hoping for something leather that kind of looks like it's part of the seat.

Your comments and ideas welcome!

Thanks!

I would recommend you go to an auto upholstery place, and have them made custom for you.

Understand that the extended seat back is really for head restraint. That being said, I agree with FP in that the local upholstery shop is your best bet for a nice cushion. Have it attached via a velcro strip so it can be removed for cleaning. Or have it made so it slips over the existing seatback top.

Post pics when you get it done.
