Default Piano Black

Wondering if anyone has painted their interior (silver) panels high gloss black like the Piano Black options in Minis and other cars? I think black paint is better than silver paint on plastic. Black looks classy.

Just curious.

You mean that's silver painted plastic? I thought it was luxury grade aluminum?
By the way the blue looks nice, I carbon fibered mine.

I've actually considered it. I think it would look very nice. If you do, please post pics.

I think it would look good. But on roadsters it would not be very wise. It would get extremely hot to touch on warm days wth the top down.

I have toyed with the idea of painting the silver on the outside of the car several times, never the interior, I like the interior, but I think at this point, I will stay original, wheels and all...I think with Chrysler demise, and MB not wanting anything to do with us, we just might be sitting on a Delorian or something of that nature...

I think the black would look nice, but it is the same with all my piano black flat screen TVs - everytime you touch them, there are horrible fingerprints on the surface and constantly need cleaning, I feel with this being the interior, the amount you touch it would make it a PITA, just my opinion...
