carid.com Interior trim kits
I have a few questions about carid.com. I know they sell interior trim kits for the crossfire and they have such trims as wood and chrome, etc. I'm looking to get the Brushed Aluminum but i have a few questions. Are these kits stick-on? Do you just peel and stick them on or no? Also, they say the Brushed Aluminum is real. So I'm assuming it is real brushed aluminum metal right? I know some of you on the forum have the wood trim. Thanks for any help!

Hey Lee,
Sorry for not replying earlier. No, I never tried the trim kit. I really did not like the idea that you just stick it on, you know what I mean? Also, on the center console/dash, the origional silver can still be seen on the sides. I want to take my XF to G.A.S. (Galpin Auto Sports) and see how much they would charge me to get the center console/dash plastic silver pieces done in brushed aluminum. I'll let you know how it goes. But that is my take on the Car Id trim kits. But look around and ask a few more people what they think. I know that someone on this forum got the wood trim kit for his XF and redid the whole interior, and he was very happy. Hope that helped haha.
