Default So did anybody correct their uneven globe box?

I read the thread about the Uneven Glove Box and tried to adjust what it told me to adjust and it is still off to one side. I downloaded the service manual and followed what it said. It's a little better, but still is uneven. Did anybody completely straighten theirs out and how?

Sometimes various parts come together that are at the limits of the manufacturing adjustment allowance and just do not allow any more movement. This may be because some other item that looks fine is also at the adjustment limit. Consequently the next item has not got enough adjustment.
Look at the Glove box door and decide what has to be moved a little more to get it into position. maybe the slot that the screw goes into needs to be longer, so lengthen it with a file, maybe a hinge has to be bent a little, a spacer added, etc. It is amazing what can be moved by just a little modification.
