Before Chrysler was taken over by the Federal Gov, you cold get the dealer to install the bin for free. Not sure if they'll still honor the TSB now. That is if you still find a dealer.

I broke mine a month or more ago. Replaced it myself with the "wallet-sized" storage bin.
Dealer sold it to me at a discount because, as the parts guy said, "I don't have the GUTS to charge you $66 for THAT".
I learned a LOT about my little car when I took the console out to replace the cup holder. Overall, it was a good experience for me. There is a thread about it here, somewhere.

It's simple to remove that piece but it will be difficult to put the new piece in because you have to put the spring in a certain way.

Rekcah is bang on! To remove console:
1) remove shifter bezel
2) apply parking brake, pull off handle rubber sleeve
3) remove 4 center console screws(2 @ front and 2 in storage bin under carpet)
4) as you pull up slowly, disconnect the power mirror sw harness and Roof control sw if so equipped.
BTW, if anyone has that little spring handy, I am in need of one
