My New Shift **** - COOOOOL. Had no problems Unscrewing the bottom section, and a little PULL effort and the old **** came off. **** was bought off E-Bay in the "Mercedes Section" about $45 incl shipping. EERIC encouraged me at the Speedway weekend after showing me his (Gear Shift that is )

Looks good!, does this **** attach the same way as the factory one? My Momo has the usual set screws at the bottom, but they are hidden by a collar.

As they just came in, you might want to shoot him another email reminding him that one of the ones that he ordered is for you. Sorry you did not get a reply from him. He has always been very responsive to me. If you would like, shoot me a pm with your email address, and I can call him tonight.

I called him and got his last one, I shouldn't have bought one and just looked for something else. Just pisses me off that I requested one over a month ago and damn near missed out on the this batch. But thanks for your willingness to help.

I just got the M's on my car. feels sooooo much better, I like being able to grasp the **** without feeling like im gonna break it.
I kinda had to ghetto rig it, since it has a delrin insert to be threaded onto a threaded shift rod, I used shop towels as a 1mm spacer of sorts until I can machine a delrin slip insert.

Dang! That's really nice, it's a huge visual difference from the stock blob ****. The bottom chrome collar looks great, I was concerned that it flared out at the bottom like the one on post #50, which really didn't suit my eye.

That one was made to fit a manual that has a boot.

I agree, yours is nicer.

I don't think the pictures do this **** justice. The carbon fiber is absolutely gorgeous!

And the detail brush was a nice bonus. Hopefully everybody got one.

Hey Blast, you did not get yours first..... You just checked your mailbox before me. LOL I got mine today also, and I must say that I am very pleased with the quality. It is much more substantial than the OEM ****. It has a nice hefty weight to it, and the finish is superb. I am not the best at taking pictures, but here it is on my SRT:

I've always dreamed of having a heavy **** that was stronger than steel.

Looks good SilverSaphrt6. I really liked my leather/alcantara boot on my car with the stock ****. This one looks so good though, I am thinking that I will take the boot off. No need to hide the beautiful tapered cap on the bottom.

Jerry told me that he ordered some more. I think it takes him close to a month to get them in. Anyway, he said that he would let me know when he gets them in, and I will update here in case anyone else wants one.
