Thanks again bMorgan for all the help!! The box that it was in actually had Morgan wrote on it LOL I was kinda worried about the tapered end looking like the one for the boot. Took it out the box and was like OH YEAH they made it very nicely tapered! You shouldve seen me autosticking Sat!!

Oh yeah.....I got free detailing brushes too!! Yes!!

I think they look nice, but I dont see much functionality improvement since its an automatic

The one I put on my manual feels so much nicer than the chintzy stock one.

bmorgan, you should come up to the varsity meet next month, 1st thursday

Since his original order sold out, he would need to order more from the factory. It could take awhile, but it's worth the wait.

You guys have totally sold me on this! They look perfect.I definately want one. (tapered,no boot) I don't know this Jerry or how to order so I look forward to your update bmorgan. Thanks for sharing! Bob

I dont think superglue will work too well.... you can get some double sided tape at the auto parts store that should hold that puppy on there forever..... I have have a birdseye maple **** from them in my Aero for over a year with no problem.... good luck with the repair....

Wow, that is really disappointing to hear. I love the styling of the CF ****, but for as much as we paid for them I thought the quality would be better. Hopefully yours was just an isolated case.

It happened to mine also, I removed that strip of glue he had in there and then I used some gorilla glue (white) and it seems to be holding in place so far.

oh Ok cool. Mine seems to be very tight now but for how long?? I wonder if they would sell the Lorinser,Carllson,Brabus plates. Then we could interchange them.

Just got my CF AMG shift ****. Looks good and I hope it stays that way. There was a little imperfection on the top but I was not sure if it was worth complaining about.

We should be receiving the exact shift **** (if you got it from Jerry) tomorrow. What was the imperfection? I'll let you know if mine had the same.

FYI, my chrome AMG plate fell off during the insane heat we have been experiencing here at CAA. I bought some super glue and glued it back on, and so far it is holding fine. There is a metal backer plate under the thin chrome plate, and it separated both there and from the graphite **** itself, so I had to fix it twice but it's all good now (knock on carbon fiber).

Insane heat aside; hope all you folks are having a great time! We live in N.Cal. on the coast(fog in the summer)and had to start a fire this evening to take the edge off!! Back on topic; shift **** came today and looks great! Just a very slight uneveness at top where the plate meets the body, but seems firm & acceptable. Hopefully we won't have the heat delam. issue due to our location.
