I am wanting to buy a XF. The 2006 I drove has a bigger thicker plastic piece under the steering wheel that my knee hits with the seat all the way back. The 2007 has a much thinner one that allows me the legroom I need. I found a 2006 I like but am wondering if I can put the thinner piece in from the 2007 in to accomodate my long legs. Any info. would be great. Does this piece just pull off?? Thanks.
