And, here is a link for how to remove the door panel. You will need this to get the end pieces out. https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...-how-pics.html

ouch. I kinda know the feeling. When I took my driver side door pull off to wrap in carbon fiber I noticed that one side was cracked. Now I'm always very gentle, using barely any force, and letting the spring??? to do the work.

wow. $32 for passenger side pull and $54 for driver side pull (You could get a full tank of gas with that kind of money). IMO that's pretty expensive for some cheap plastic. You should call a dealership to see what their price is; never know if it might be a little cheaper like the sail panel cover which is $17 online and only $5 at my local dealership. Or maybe check a junk yard first?

Thanks for the replies...funny how the same exact item costs more for the right vs the left, I know about supply and demand, but that drastic :-).

The pull handle is made up of 2 pieces. The inner piece that connects to the door panel and the outer shell that pops off. The price you see on the door handle is just for the outer shell. I know because I ordered it and that is all I got. If you spend the money and order it, be prepared to get only half the handle.

Well that sucks. Did you find a source to purchase the entire door pull handle assembly? And, that is an insane price just for the outer pull piece.

No... I never did buy a door handle. I considered replacing mine (but it is ok for now). Just got busy and stopped searching.

Some company should manufacture door pulls similar to these, but not with that chrome overlay. I dont think that it would cost too much to make and I'm sure there would be a demand for them from all the people with bloody fingers.

I guess you could save the old one and see if the outer piece fits on the new inner piece.

I had peeling chrome on the back of my passenger side pull. I sanded the peeling chrome smooth, and then I wrapped the back side with neffy wrap.

Great news. The door does not have to be taken off. Just grab a star bit and a needle-nose pliers and you are good to go. I pulled the broken pieces out and installed the new back and then the front cover. I NEVER thought that I would be so excited to have a new door handle! The new SRT 6 roadster is almost perfect now!

Where did you get the back piece of the door pull from? I picked up an extra door panel to get mine but would like an extra one laying around just in case it breaks again.
