Default Instrument cluster lights... green to white

Hi all,

I was killing time reading some posts and stumbled on this image:

http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...5/000_0223.jpg

It looks like the instrument cluster has white lights instead of green. I thought all crossfires had the standard green instrument cluster lighting, so why does this look white? I remember reading a thread about people interested in swapping out the green for white (which I would really like to do) but nothing ever materialized from that.

Anyone know how to do this?

It is white because the headlights are not on. LOL All of the gauges are white until you turn the lights on.

I guess my eyes were playing tricks on me. It looked like they were glowing a bit... must have been the fluorescent lighting or something.

He's only 22 so he thinks he'll be old at 30.
I have socks older than him.

Well they look like they are glowing to me and I'm 24 ;-). I would really like to look into changing the color of the backlighting or just making them brighter... I find them way to dim (and yes, I know how to adjust them lol).

Strange as it may seem, but my car is the Aero Blue Pearl and my instrument panel seems to glow blue not green.

Now I would realy like to see that!
The bulbs can be changed, there are lots of them to change for a complete job, but it has been done. The workshop manual describes the process.
