Drivers side window makes a thud sound when opening
I just noticed this last night, sometimes when I put the window on auto to roll down, it will make a thud sound when it gets all the way down. Its not consistent, it doesnt do it everytime. I'm wondering if the regulator needs to be adjusted, or if something came loose in the door?
Im out of ideas, any help would be appreciated

Well I need to make a service run at the stealership one day anyways. Knowing my luck it wont do it when I take it in. I'll probably pull the door panel off and take a peek
yep, I've found that 99% of Chrysler dealers are clueless when it comes to this car.
but I dont have a DRB-III so I gotta go lol

I have the same problem, and yes not all the time, just have not felt like pulling the panel, I would think it would be the track or a window stop that moves out of posistion from time to time, but I have had the car for over three years and its still intermintent, so I guess it really hasn't bothered me enough yet to look at the cause, let us know what you come up with, if you decide to get into it.
Ok ,,who started this,,now its my problem too. Rolled the window down to get a cup of coffee and clunk,,CRAP,,,,,First problem since i've owned the car

I know this is an old thread but I'm having the same problem and I'm wondering if there is a solution for it - is it a serious problem that should be fixed or merely an annoyance? Thanx for any help on this...
My passenger side window (roadster) has been doing this for at least 2 years. It's still intermittent. Probably happens one out of five times but can be difficult to reproduce. Sometimes it clunks when it reaches the bottom of the track, sometimes it happens mid-way down and out of the corner of my eye I can see the window shudder, and sometimes it happens when I begin to roll the window up from a partially-lowered position (changing direction).
I hate random noises. Luckily it hasn't progressed very quickly.
