My mirrors work fine, but the mirror switch *** is missing. You can turn the mirrors still with the white plastic piece that sitcks out, but the **** is missing. I'm going crazy to buy one. Anyone know where to get it exactly or a good store?

 

It's part of the mirror switch assembly and cannot be purchased seperately. I'm not sure but perhaps a third party company makes an aftermarket one for the MBs. They were used in a lot of models between '98-'03. If you do find one, please post it up here for the rest of us.

Found one on Ebay, but I would have no idea how to install it...All I need is the ****...the electronic part works fine. I had the part but it somehow was misplaced. It would fit on top of the stem but if anything touched it, it fell off...argh!

 

Has anyone found the **** without having to purchase the whole switch? My **** "disappeared" the other day and I would hate to have to spend 50 bucks for a 5 dollar ****.
