Changing interior colour
Hi there,
I'm looking to buy a Crossifre here from the UK. I've seen many US Crossfires with interior colours white or red. I'm assuming these are customised interiors? The standard colours are a bit to bland for me. So my question is this..
If I wanted a white/red interior (seats, panels etc.) how much would it cost?
Has anyone here changed the interior colours?
Any other issues I should be aware of?
Thanks guys!

hi mate i am also from the uk, you can get crossfires with a cedar trim which is a deep red colour and i have also seen them with a very pale cream coloured leather which i think was a special order job, couple of years ago i had a pt cruiser retrimmed in leather to my design and it cost £1400, there is a picture of it in my gallery, but there is a lot more leather involved than a XF so should work out a bit cheaper, dont know what part of the country you are from but you should check out www.ukcrossfires.co.uk for information on the UK crossfire scene...

Here are the interior color choices for North American Crossfires. Cream colored leather I think was limited to the convertibles IIRC.
User SRTSIX had the plastic and leather bits on his SRT-6 coupe dyed. The thread is long and starts here.
The firm SRTSIX used was colorglo.com. Their nearest outlet to you, unfortunately, is Ireland.
There may be a dyeing firm closer to your home. I don't know which UK forum you should consult with, either Mercedes or Jaguar fanboy sites.
Must get back to restoring the wife's 1990 XJ-S
Hope this helps.

Ah, cheers guys, much appreciated!
Chris, I'm from Scotland. I'll check out that site! Just seen a Cedar interior one for sale locally, might go check it out.
