I'm sorry that I missed the 100th post that you started, this is the 106th. That gives you a ratio of about 5 to 1 in replies to post you start. Very prolific indeed. I'm a mere 33 to 1. Yours have mostly one thing in common, you.
Why don't you keep all your questions in one thread, it would be easier to keep up with what you are doing.
Everyone would get an email saying there was a new post in the thread. This way if it goes through the new posts and nobody sees it it will be lost.
There is a post on the removal of this part, search for it, it has pictures as well. Hint - look under leaks.

Well, I would not ask if I did find it. Believe me. But when being in the garage, just wanting to get an easy know how, I do search "fuel filler door removal" and I find nothing. I did find when I searched on leak and went in to deeper detail but why not a sticky? the one I found was not that clear. basic text and bad photo.

But 180, good idea. "FUBUs questions corner" Well, it should be a sticky as I see all my questions be valid.

Fubu, 180 is right, take a second and really think about it.

Every single one of us that mods or works on our cars is always after that quick piece of info or answer IMMEDIATELY. When people create hundreds of threads to ask quick questions, it clutters up the entire forum and, as you found out, makes it a lot harder to find that small piece of good info.

If I would have posted a thread every time I had a question about the AMG brake upgrade I did this weekend, I would still be typing

I see your point but that is what the stickys are there for. And as I did not find anything mentioning fuel filler door / removal.. What should I do? Now if someone will search for fuel filler door removal, they will at least see 180s hint that you should search for "leaks".. Why didnt I think of that to start off with..

This guy got it off with no problem it appears.

I used 'trunk leak' in the search.

I started a thread in which I offered to collect all the posts that covered a repair in detail and assemble them in one post. People replied and said that it was a great idea, not one person gave me a post that covered a repair. The thread just died.
Why bother.

I hear you, but I think that we all are too spoiled as it is. On this forum, you have literally been spoon fed exactly how to do certain things, even with pictures, but to be naive enough to think that every single procedure or DIY is going to be a sticky is just silly

Try doing some of these things on a car that all you have is a 500 page repair manual, no one to ask anything, and not a single picture, just diagrams....

We are lucky to have the vast amount of info here, and people such as Dave to attempt to bring it all together
