Default Added some light in the rear cargo area

Ever wonder why the Crossfire Coupe has a cargo light mounted really low? You put one piece of luggage in there and all your light is gone. I added an OEM to the other side and it didn't help much.

So I purchased two more OEM lights from the dealer and mounted them as high as you can get them in the quarter trim. It turned out just as I had planned. But I warn you that it is one BIG PAIN to get those 1/4 trim panels back in properly. Probably the worst time I have ever had working on the Crossfire.

The hole needed for the OEM light is 7/8" X 2 3/8". Dremel works great. Since I have 4 lights back there now, I went with LEDs to keep the draw down to a minimum.

If I were to do over again, I would only add one, high on the opposite side of the current light. And cut the hole with the panel in place. NEVER remove the quarter trim panel...

I have the same thing, but I wedge it between the console and passenger seat. he's got it in the pocket between the seats. I just found it inconvenient to turn to get to a drink, or cell phone.

BTW: James .... great job! Is it harder than trying to remove a headlight without taking the grill out? LOL

Many places have them. Mine came from Advanced Auto. I actually mounted mine using the same holes as the umbrella hooks, but it still tucks in the bag.
