I am going to hardwire a Escort 9500ix radar detector. Any suggestions on where I should mount the remote display?

 

look at my pic's ... its easy to get behind it there from the fuse area well thats where i had it on my black xf .. i put it above the vent on the one i have now

where did you get your CF dash kit, I have looked but have not seen it anywhere else yet!

 

Thanks. Are you referring to the display for the ci on your dash, or the part in the ash tray?
The ix only has the remote display.

 

Eric, put a Carbon fiber ( Chrome) dash board trim kit in his XF. Saw it at Laps for Charity Show (GTG) in Dallas a couple of months ago and wanted to see where he bought it and how much it cost. Maybe a different Eric????
