I'm having my headliner re-wrapped in black or a dark grey similar to the color of the dash.

Has anyone done this before? What kind of paint would you recommend? How much prep do I need to do on the pillars before painting? Cannot stand the light grey color in the car.

 

I redid my headliner in gray suede. I had them wrap the pillars with the same material.
