Default Radio Light

Is there a way of turning up the display light on the stock '04 radio. Now, this display can't be seen until evening or driving through a tunnel.

Thanks

There was a recall and replacement of some '04' radios due to the display being too dim. I would say that is your problem.

Your must have one of the original ones that had this problem? Here's a possible replacement/solution. You could just slide the old one out, disconnect, reconnect and slide the replacement in. Very easy with a tool that can be purchased at Walmart.
