Manual adjusting powered seats ??
Hey
I just got that seat relay fail . Seat will go back and forth, but not up or down. So I gonna pull the relay and replace it. But the part not gonna get here till 23rd and when the relayed failed I just got it detailed and the sits in all the way up to were my head is pushing on the roof. So I was wondering if I could pull the sit out and manual lower it. Just wanted to ask if it was possible before I pull the sit
Thanks

If you have a 12 volt power supply, you could manually activate the motor. I've had to do that on a number of occasions on my daughter's BMW 323i. Take out the seat, flip it over, find the correct motor and apply the 12 volt power. You may need to reverse polarity to get it to go in the direction you need. Good luck!
I taking the forum word for it . did a search and the relay seems to be the problem, since both seat will go back and forth , but not up and dowm
