Default Center Console Cover

ANYONE?
Can anyone tell me how to remove the center console faceplate (plastic) without breaking it? I want to change out my A/C control system.

It's really easy just use a plastic and gently pull out from the bottom. Then pull down from the top.

Wow with your experience in that area I'm surprised you're giving him the wrong advice you must first remove the radio and take the two screws out that hold it in.

All,
Dog is all over it. After reading here on the Forum numerous times that the main center console bezel " just pops out" I too learned that there are 2 jewelers sized Phillips screws that go through the bezel and stereo head unit cage that preclude the bezel from just popping out. If I recall the screws are near the center top of the stereo retaining cage. Unless these are removed first you will probably snap the bezel into pieces following the "just pops out" advice.

All,
One addendum. I'm not certain if my last post is valid for Crossfires with the OEM factory head unit as mine was equipped with an after market unit. This too wasn't addressed in the just pops out posts.
