Default 2007 Glove Box Door

I want to take the glove box door off my 2007 SE and carry it with me to Woodward, in hopes that Eric will sign it. PROBLEM: I have only the 04 and 05 versions of the service manual and the 07 (at least the SE) has a totally different glove box door setup - the glove box door is a FLAT piece of assembled plastic.

I can't see how to get it to release from it's mount. Must I take the two mounts out? That makes no sense - would they design it that way?

HELP. I have only the next three nights to figure this out and get 'er done..... (Looks like redoing the valve/breathers is easier than this........ )

Ask Padgett, he is an artist with a Sawzall and maybe he will give you some hints.

Dave's been sucking on the superglue again, his tongue is permanently attached to his cheek.

That was stupid easy. Went to the storage center with EVERY tool I owned, all three tool kits. I was determined to tear the dash apart until I got my door.

Noticed four T15 screws on the back side of the door. Took them off. Latch and front trim panel fell onto the floor. I'm done.

I'm glad that worked out for you. You aren't usually one to need help!

I was making it WAY too complicated... In any event - I got his signature and I'm sitting in Chicago at Midway waiting for a flight home.
