Instrument Panel Light Control
In the manual it says
22. Push Button for Activating the Instrument Cluster, Intensity of Instrument Lights, for Resetting Trip Odometer and Flexible Service System (FSS) Indicator
Press the ****/button to illuminate the display. To vary the intensity of the instrument cluster lights, rotate the ****/button.
My push button does reset the odometer and rotates to dim the lights when they're on. But the text seems to say that the panel lights can be switched on separately from the exterior lights. This doesn't work on my 2007. Pressing the button at any time without the ext lights on doesn't illuminate the display. Panel lights only come on with ext lights.
I'm asking as my last car car was designed to have the panel always lit and i got used to it (although that was white light).
Does this button do as the manual says for anyone?
