Was tooling along today after picking up some oil and filter at Wally World...… and I noticed something was missing. It was strange that I hadn't noticed it, I've only had my XF for 500 miles or so.

There is no Foot Rest aka Dead Pedal in these cars. That had to be some kind of an oversight.

Anyone got a good place to find one from an SLK? I checked fleabay, with no luck.

Iam more interested in function than form, and made one out of a 2 x 4 which pissed off some nit ******* that dont let their cars get rained on. It works and has been good during auto crossing.

I also designed the oil catch can, belt / pully saver, super cooler, and DCAI system along with others like the crossover intake manifold. However I did not paint the 2 x 4 as it causes SO much distress among the unwashed nit *******, that I cant help my self - worth a good laugh. OBTW it works and costs little. Woody Ho Ho Ho get over it its a car.
