Ashtray

Ashtray will not stay closed. Any suggestions on a fix. Also how do you remove it?

I had to do this type of fix to my ash tray that goes with my Mk1 Double Din navigation install. I had to cut the rear half of the ashtray off to clear the navigation radio bottom face.
I added a piece of Gorilla tape over the magnet to reduce the magnetism to a decent level.
