Default Air Conditioner and Blower Fan Dead

Today my AC went out. The strange thing is that it went out completely. Turn on the fan control, nothing. Hit the AC button, no light. It seems something has blown or become unplugged in the electrical. I have replaced the blower resistor and fan motor once already, so I don't think that is it. Even if the resistor blows there is USUALLY still some air flow and the AC will still come on.

Any ideas out there? Anyone have the same issue before?

Already did. Not a fuse issue.

I think this time the fan resistor is completely out. Only thing I can think of. The AC will not come on until you set the fan to above the first setting, so it "may" be powered off the resistor and not the actual dial.

If so this is the cause. I have ordered another resistor and will put it in next week.

I understand that the AC is only meant to come on when the fan speed selector is above zero. ie setting 1-2. That's how it functions on cars in the UK.....we have little use for AC over here.
